Fact:

Most patients find the infusion experience to be quite relaxing and pleasant. You won’t lose consciousness or awareness of your surroundings. And our staff will be by your side. Should you choose to, you can even invite your family members or friends to accompany you.

Myth: I will be alone and not sure what to do.

Myth: Ketamine won't work for me.

Fact:

About 80% of patients experience significant relief from major depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental disorders. These are extraordinary results when you compare the effectiveness of SSRIs like Prozac, Celexa, and Wellbutrin. While those medications also work, ketamine does not need to be taken daily and there is no risk of addiction when under ketamine infusion therapy given by a doctor after careful evaluation.

Ketamine is given through an IV infusion for about forty-five minutes. When an IV infusion is given, vital signs are monitored throughout and patients are often monitored half an hour after the infusion is complete.

According to the Ketamine Advocacy Network, in the United States,”it costs between $450  to $900 per ketamine infusion. There is an initial fee for consultation and assessment of around $350.” Tests and consultations are critical as some medications are contraindicated during ketamine treatment as are some conditions such as schizophrenia or denationalization disorder.

At Broadway Medical Center, our prices and payment options are much more affordable than what some other providers may charge. Please call or schedule a consultation to inquire about pricing. Also, if you are for any reason determined not to be a candidate for ketamine-therapy, you don’t have to pay anything.
